RoseonApp Adds Mobile Trading and Mini Games
RoseonApp, a DeFi SuperApp with Perp Trading and Mini Games to Improve Token Utility and Business Model.
After operating for 3 years, we have learned an important lesson: In order for our startup to thrive in the long run, we must establish a strong and resilient business model that can generate profits even in the bear market. Once we have a proven and sustainable business model, we can then apply innovation. Roseon initially launched during the bull run in June 2021, experiencing robust growth and generating significant revenue and profit. Unfortunately, the following 2 years were bearish with low revenue where the entire industry witnessed the biggest crypto drought following the FTX crash. As a result, the Roseon executive team reassessed its business model and made the strategic decision to enhance our DeFi mobile app by adding perpetual exchange and a mini casino. These new features will enhance the utility of the $ROSX native token, support future ecosystem developments and thereby fortifying our business model even further.
The Pivot Timeline
The pivot began in early Q2 of 2023 and will take place throughout 2024. With these changes, Roseon is expected to improve its token utility, increase revenue, therefore more buybacks.
- April 5, 2023: Roseon migrated to a new token on Arbitrum, ROSX. RoseonApp supports new tokens on Arbitrium.
- May 12, 2023: Launched RoseonX on testnet.
- October 16, 2023: Launched RoseonX on mainnet.
- December, 2023: Integration with RoseonX in the mobile app to allow our 300K users to trade.
- January, 2024: Official DEX Release.
- 2024 and beyond: Continue to extend the trading and add gaming in RoseonApp.
Perpetual Trading
Once RoseonX launches on mainnet, integration on RoseonApp will take place immediately, this will allow our mobile users to access perp trading and to further increase TVL which translates to revenue. The integration will take place in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Integrate with RoseonX into RoseonApp, this will help increase TVL and allow mobile users to trade on our DEX, via mobile.
Phase 2: Build a native version of the mobile app to enhance user experience and to support automated trading.
Mini Games
Players can test their luck with 14 mini games, where they can win ROSES, ROSX and USDC.
The following games will be launched initially:
- Coin Flip – A simple game of chance where players bet on whether a flipped coin will land on heads or tails.
- DiceX – Dice is another simple game where players can select 1 to 5 faces of the dice to adjust the payout multipliers. This means that by selecting specific numbers on the dice, the player can potentially increase their winnings if those numbers are rolled.
- MoonX – A game where players bet on the crash of a moon. The game begins when a rocket launches as the moon will rise slowly in the sky. Players can place bets on when they think the moon will “crash”. The time window for betting opens with the first player’s bet. The game is over when the moon crashes, and the players holding their bets win. The longer the moon stays in the sky, the higher the multiplier gets, increasing the potential winnings for players who hold their bets until the crash.
- Rock Paper Scissors – RPS players compete against the house by choosing one of three options: rock, paper, or scissors. The rules of the game are as follows: rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, and paper beats rock. If the player and the computer both choose the same option, the game is a draw.
- Roulette – In Roulette, a spinning wheel divided into numbered pockets takes center stage. Your goal as a player is to predict which pocket the ball will land in after the wheel comes to a stop. The wheel features numbers from 0 to 36, with additional betting options for various combinations and groupings of numbers.
- Spin2Win: A game of chance where players bet on which segment of a spinning wheel the pointer will land on.
Future Games
- Keno: Players need to choose 1 to 10 numbers from a pool of numbers ranging from 1 to 40. After the player has made their selection, the game will randomly draw 10 numbers from the same pool of numbers (1 to 40). The numbers drawn are the winning numbers. The player’s winnings are determined based on the number of matches between the player’s selected numbers and the numbers drawn by the game.
- Blackjack: One of the most popular casino card games worldwide, played against the dealer with the objective of beating the dealer’s hand without going over 21.
- Baccarat: A simple and straightforward card game, popular among high rollers. The objective is to correctly guess which hand will have a higher score – the player or the banker.
- Slots: One of the most popular games in any casino, where players insert coins and spin the reels in hopes of hitting a winning combination.
- Sic Bo: A Chinese dice game where players bet on the outcome of a roll of three dice.
- Lottery: A game of chance where players buy tickets with numbers and the winning numbers are drawn at random.
- Casino Hold’em: A variation of Texas Hold’em poker, played against the dealer rather than other players.
- Big 2: A popular Asian card game, where players try to get rid of their cards by playing combinations and following a certain set of rules.
$ROSX Token Utility
With the addition of minigames and a perp DEX, the Roseon holders will find that there are massive utilities for the $ROSX token within the Roseon ecosystem
Business Model
RoseonApp has 3 streams from revenue:
- DeFi Convenience Revenue – Roseon charges convenience fees and commission when users swap, bridge or trade.
- P2E Gaming Revenue: Roseon earn revenue through NFT sales, game credits and advertisements
- iGaming Revenue- Roseon is the house and will earn through the house edge
Meanwhile, RoseonX earns fees from: Trading, Lending and Listing
The introduction of RoseonX and pivot by RoseonApp will bring more revenue for Roseon, which means more will be given back to Stakers, LP Providers and Treasury for buybacks. Below is a breakdown of how revenue is distributed in order to maintain a healthy and fully incentivised ecosystem.
