FAQs
What are 12 Secret Seed Phrases?
A Seed Phrase is a series of 12 or 24 random words that provide the data needed to recover a lost or broken crypto wallet. It is also known as a mnemonic phrase and is best understood as a security measure for self-custody digital assets.
Are Seed Phrases and Private Key the same?
Seed Phrases and Private Keys are often used interchangeably, but they are different. The Private Key is a string of numbers and letters used to approve a transaction from an owner’s public address.
They are safely stored in wallets so that users don’t have to manually enter them every time they want to approve a transaction. The wallet Seed Phrase provides the users with a way to recover that wallet if it is ever lost or broken. If for whatever reason someone gets access to a Private Key though, they can move the funds without using the mnemonic Seed Phrase.
What happened if I forgot my Secret Seed Phrases or Private Key?
Unfortunately, we CANNOT get it back for you. Make sure to write it down, engrave it on metal, or keep it in multiple secret spots so you never lose it. If you lose it, it’s gone forever.
Can I import 2 wallets on the same chain to Roseon App?
Roseon App currently only supports one wallet address per chain. However, if your address is on multiple chains, you can still import your wallet address on each chain and switch between chains to see the balance.
